Renegade Captured

The Ista Weyr Auction was certainly a fascinating experience. What started as a simple auction of high-value goods quickly devolved into a brawl. Not long after the first lot sold (a fine case of Benden red for 35 and 1/4 marks) to a visiting harper journeyman. Bronzrider D'ian recognized a familiar face in the crowd: the leader of the local renegades, Veski. In the scuffle that ensued the renegade leader escaped, but not before scarring a female brownrider's face with his glace of wine. His companion (son?) was not so lucky and was caught and detained. With the help of several Ista residents and refugees he was relocated to Ista's cells for a meeting with the weyrwoman at a later time.
