Ista Weyr - Waterfall
A narrow cave is formed here in the rock, a curtain of water spraying down from the edge of the plateau in heavy stacato to drain into a stream that ripples down the beach to the sea. Mist surrounds everything— the cave is cool and dank, moss growing from the floor, about the damp walls, the sound of rushing water filling every corner - and echoing deep within, as if a passage led further into the gloom. Even so, it is peaceful within this cave, naturally, the water - and the occasional shivering echo from deeper within a gap in the wall - the only sounds that break the monotony.

There is SQUAWKING. Loud, obnoxious squawking, coming from a usually croony and overly-friendly brozne firelizard. That's right, little Charmer is kicking up a racket fit to raise the dead, swooping and shrieking around the entrance to a certain cave by the beach. Not far behind him are four other firelizards, including gold Bliss who, usually, doesn't utter morethan a peep. Indeed, the lot of them are making quite the commotion. Far back in the cave, there's a little bobbing light, coming from the tiny glowbasket currently tied to Cenlia's belt. It swings up and down as the girl tugs- tug-tugs ..at her leg. One foot appears buried in the moss there, and the girl is spewing expletives right and left, and calling the occasional, "Sharding nuisances, shut /up/!" Though the firelizards pay no heed, Cen groaning a, "X'hil's gonns heaar, shooove iiit," and then making a bit of a growly 'urrrgh' noise as she twists and turns, her other booted foot churning up the mossy ground, but with no luck. She's in her usual gardener garb, the pantlegs smearedwith dirt, and the sleeves rolled up well past her elbows. And she's looking mad enough to slay that stubbornly stuck foot there.

Someone definitely hears the commotion of several rowdy firelizards. Someone that was taking a swim on the beach with her lifemate and just so happened to be near the waterfall and somehow heard all those firelizards squawking and making a fuss from across the crashing water. Thankfully that someone isn't X'hil, as F'yr is preceeded by Chu who *pops* in from :between: and chatters up a storm too, having gotten too close to Charmer not to be affected by his distress. Fy comes out of the water following her, gasping as she pushes blond hair from her face and scrambles up and onto the cave. "What the shards is going on here? Another cat get stuck in here or something?" Well, that's quite a big cat. She comes around to her friend, blinking at her as if unable to process what she was seeing. "How'd you get stuck all the way in here?" Must not giggle. Not. One. Bit. Mufflesnort.

Well X'hil may or may not hear but V'gay certainly has. Seems he'd been wandering aimlessly along the beach and all in mindless abandondend fashion, plum bored out of his mind with someone watchin' the boy and Pi still working at something or another and thus leaving him to his own devices. He's got a small basket of stuff as well and looks quite dejected. Seems maybe a picnic didn't happen as planned perhaps. "What in the?" At the sound of the water he too is making is way through to the cave and all. "Well. Ain't this a most interestin' sight and all." He notes as he scratches his head a bit. "How in the blazes did ya get yerself stuck and all, and why not send that noisy flock of yers for help." there's an eye for the firelizards "Would ya all quiet. Yer liable to bring the place down over our heads. Don't make me make Limerith come in here after ya." Yeah. Right.

Charmer's swooping and swerving like crazy, but he's not /too/ distracted by his noisemaking to notice a lovely lady 'lizard! Chu there immediately gets a trill! Oh right, what was he doing? That's right! SQUAAWWK! Cenlia, herself, gives a squawk, as her little bronze, heedless of V'gay's warning, continues to fly around making a commotion. But Cen, she is making a racket of her own, at the sudden sight of a friend. "Fy!" her voice a little bit on the high, surprised side, "Shardit all, I'm stuuuck." Why yes, yes there is a bit of a whiny edge there. And her cheeks do make like a redfruit at the doule questions of /how/ from the two riders. "Weren't lookin' where I was going," is her reply, wiggle-wiggling trying to dislodge her foot. "Shardit all," the girl groans, giving F'yr a /look/ there. She heard that mufflesnort! V'gay's suggestion of sending the flock for help has Cen squawking out a, "No!" and then looking suddenly sheepish, "Can't - might go fer X'hil." Red cheeks become redder. Ahem. Tug-tug, getting a tad frantic now, "Can't get out-" obviously, the girl uttering another growly sound and glaring footwards once again.

Chu flutters about Charmer, though she's relatively quiet after her initial trill of a greeting. The other firelizards are doing more than enough noise for her afterall. "Yeah, I can see you stuck but… but /people/ don't usually get stuck in here. Found a kitten in here once." She looks around the cave, almost nostalgic, before shaking her head and turning to glance at the arrival of the bronzerider, trying to suddenly look innocent. Never know what he'll say! But then something Cen says makes her head snap thattaway. "And if you weren't lucky and we didn't find you? You'd end up starving! Course, X'hil would probably say it's my fault or something if it was him that found you." She grins widely at that look. And then she can't help herself, breaking down into giggles even as she carefully makes her way over, only being dressed in a big shirt and barefoot as well. Slippery when wet too, so her arms have to windmill from time to time to keep her steady. "Sir, um… You might be stronger to pull her out." Or pull out her arm instead. But she's waving V'gay over anyway.

There's still a great deal of squawking coming from that cave by the beach, Charmer and the rest of Cen's flock continuing to make noise and kick up a racket, though the bronze is getting a bit distracted by the sight of Chu, no longer in outright panic. It probably helps that Cen's looking a bit less frantic too. "Stepped in somethin'," the gardener girl groans, her foot firmly planted deep in the mossy ground. "Think there's something /in/ there," sead with an edge oin her voice, "An' it ain't no trundlebug." Tug tug tug. The other foot twists awkwardly as she attempts to tug on her leg, muttering a, "Ain't eatin' no sharding felines!" V'gay gets the glarey look now, though it doesn't last, Cen's eyes going a little wide, "Woulda sent 'em fer help!" Right. "Just don't tell X'hil," she groans again, at F'yr, and then makes more scowly at the brownrider, huffing, "Ain't funny!" SHe does eye V'gay, as if trying to figure out if he's joking about cutting her foot off, though the girl stops tugging long enough to nod, "Ain't heave, 'least." Says she.

The more that Cenlia looks mad, the more that F'yr is laughing, though at some point she has to hold her side and take a few breaths to calm herself, coming within hitting distance. She didn't doubt that her friend would smack her if she felt like it. "Stop wiggling your foot if there's something there," she says, trying to sound as serious as possible now. "You might be attracting it. Wiggling food might look like food or something. Probably are some poisonous tunnelsnakes hiding 'round in these caves and tunnels afterall." She nods, more and more solemn, though the odd twitch of her lips still as the laughter hasn't entirely died down. Chu settles on an outcrop of rocks, careful to look around before landing, and then chitters for Charmer to come down. All's well! Her Fy is there, and Fy is a professional. "Sorry if I break it," Fy says beforehand to her gardener friend, reaching for Cen's foot if she allows (and doesn't kick her in the face) to jiggle it so that V'gay can then try to tug her out.
