As luck would have it, Miraneith's first clutch was nothing of the kind — as the eggs began to rock in the middle of the afternoon, and the Candidates converged upon the sands to try their luck. The results were outstanding for the first clutch of two young dragon parents on the sands for the first time, yielding 2 bronzes, 2 browns, 3 blues and 4 greens, and giving the Weyrlingmaster team 11 new hatchlings to raise and train in addition to that last rather lackluster clutch of Ellamariseth and Kinseth.
