It was late enough in the day when greenrider A'fiel went to the hot springs to soak in the pools. What he discovered there when he got there was that he wasn't the only person who was partaking of the warm waters. Tigon and Gobhan were there, talking about girls, and how scary some of them could be. The subject also turned to carving, and A'fiel asked Gobhan to tell him more about himself. Somewhere along the line, Gobhan was asked if he'd stay at the Weyr when his ship left, because Valliereth wanted him to be a Candidate. And of course, he said yes to that.
