With weyrlings out into their own wings and weyrs now, it was only about time that Ellamariseth took to the skies again with the need to fill the empty barracks. The flight was uneventful, with X'hil's bronze Kinseth catching again, much to the relief of everyone in the Weyr. The bronze is here to stay. It was shortly before the clutching that rumors started to spread, after several witnesses had seen Weyrwoman Ysa furiously talk to the Healers and an overhearing X'hil faint briefly on a cot. Immediate assumptions over the Weyrwoman's condition might be correct that she has a bun in the oven, but she is not saying… in fact, she has been caught drinking as much as before. And then the Weyrfolk turned their attention to the hatching grounds as Ellamariseth announced the arrival of her second clutch with Kinseth, a total of ten of the ugliest eggs Pern has ever seen.
