Yellow Lemon Egg
Citrus yellow — a brilliantly bright — stains the elegant curve of generously-sized shell. Whilest there is a variance in color; in some places, the lemon hues deepen and darken towards — but not quite a pale lime — and in others lighten and brighten to a sweeter citrine glow, the color shading the shell is generally uniform. It's large, this egg, a round ovoid with a sweetly curving shell, somewhat oval in shape. There lingers a sweetness to it, when one looks upon it — hinting at a sticky-sweet taste that quickly fades to sourness. In all, a radiant panorama of citron beckons; just yearning to be plucked and tasted; enjoyed in the savored sweetness of childhood's glee.
Hatching Name and Description
Sunny Day Gold Hatchling
Radiant sunlight seems poured from the brilliance of Rukbat's rays; given shape and form into a lean supple form. Glistening daylight is a glorious halo about a dainty small-muzzled head, which sweeps back to to a wide-browed forehead upon which are set delicately-shaped head knobs, her neck long and elegant, with a femininely curved chest and shoulder. Her wings are broad, strongly muscled and meant for sustained distances; the 'sails and 'spars splashed with sunflower — paling to muted flaxen along the wingsail membranes themselves, the near-translucent opalescence of them enfolded in noontide splendor. Goldenrod dribbles down across finely curved ribs, and a tucked-up belly before yielding to droplets of sunshine that spill over her rounded flanks, and then pool in puddles of sunlight in the curve of her neatly forked tail.
Personality
Like the weather she resembles, Sunshine is a bright and perky young firelizard; often given to cheerful warbles or trills of glee — a trait well matched in the cheeky and happy-go-lucky young woman to whom she was bonded. She's something of an airhead at times; as she is not one to be angered easily. For her, the sun is shining every day, and the world is a wonderful place.
Inspiration
The eggs for this group were desc'd after skittles (Mmm, lemon!), while the hatchlings were based off of different types of weather.
