The most obvious features of this bronze firelizard are his extremely well built hind-legs, able to launch his body far into the sky, far for a firelizard at least, before he even needs to stretch his admittedly rather large wings. By contrast, his fore-legs don't seem to be much good for anything, undersized and underdeveloped. His tail is long, slightly thicker than most, and he uses it to stabilise himself, particularly when sitting, as he prefers to sit on his haunches. In colour, he's over towards the red scale of bronze, just slightly, fading more towards grey-brown at his feet and tail.

A bright splash of deep red stands out against a plain green background, the contrasting red stretching up and down the shell. At the base, the red seems more bunched together, there's more green space around it, and none in between. As it strides up the shell, it spreads apart, crowding out the green. The uppermost tips of the red slashes are tinged with black.

My impression of kangaroos, in temperament:
In brief: Energetic, athletic, easily startled, and not too bright. When driving on the highways of Australia, one will inevitably encounter signs warning of kangaroos in the area. Kangaroos don't really seem to understand the concept of cars, they're more likely to jump into the path of a vehicle than out of it, though this often does more damage to the cars than the kangaroos. For this reason, it's not advisable to do any highway driving at night. Kangaroos themselves seem generally harmless, though easily large and strong enough that they could do some serious damage if they had a mind to, and not much else can be said about them, other than that they taste delicious.
