Schist Happens Egg
A very 'flat' looking egg; maybe this egg was sat on by its momma while it was still very soft? It almost looks like a stack of sheets were flattened together until it finally formed this dull slightly grainy off-white egg; some shinier speckles seen here and there. And then, as if it was squished into the egg, one side has a large circular dark reddish blob in it.
Hatching Name and Description
Bronze Hatchling Has Bite
Majestic in stature is only amplified by this firelizard's brassy hide, polished to perfection. Sinewy muscles quiver under the stretched hide, lithe yet powerful over his graceful features, strong legs with a whipping tail that stretches long behind him. A sharp muzzle sweeps back into a regal arch, delicately etched with green to highlight his handsome angles. Green pales into silver tracks that lead down his back to the sterling sails of his large wings, a ghostly shimmering cape always held partly open.
Personality
Barq is, by all accounts, an interesting sort of firelizard. He's best known for having two states; an on-button and an off-button and not a moment goes by when he's either loud and noisy, or just plain out dog-tired. The reason for this can best described as a 'caffine'-crash. Peppy and hyper one moment; trilling noisily and generally alert, it's not uncommon to have Barq droop and become lazy after a short while. Luckily, Enka seems to be aware of this, and generally keeps an eye on him.
Inspiration
Eggs: While most are obvious, the egg theme for this clutch is Geology puns. The puns are the names and then the eggs have the descriptions based on the geological structure or the rock type. :)
