There is a place for every craft at Ista, from mining to weaving. With a large resort population there is always someone to sell your wares to, places to demonstrate your skill, and conventions to meet with your fellow crafters from all around pern. For those that live at Ista there are several options for living quarters: Either with the resident in the resident dorms or in a new Craft Hall situated near the beach. The craft hall is ideal for communal living with its own kitchen and facilities and several study rooms.
Ista Weyr also plays host to its newly built Ista Hall. Ista Hall is the focus of the resort industry with many rooms for visitors to stay in as well as a large hall to carry out concerts, dances, plays and conventions in.
