Description
There is no other way to describe Kairhys' eyes with a passing glance other than muddy, while a closer look reveals a golden undertone with distinct highlights of fulvous and burnt sienna. Lashes long and thick surround them, the brows above thin and neat, arching towards their outer ends. His nose is long, broadening slightly at his nostrils. It paves the way down his oblong face for a set of bow shaped lips and an angular jaw line flowing neatly into a smooth rounded chin. Both of his ears are unremarkable, save for a single tiny sapphire set in the center of either lobe. Atop his head, is a crop of brown hair with reddish-gold accents. He keeps it short for the most part, the top a bit longer then the rest. There's something in it there, wax perhaps, and then looks to have been ruffled to give it a mussed but stylish appearance. His frame is long and thin at his height of six foot one or so, with a toned and defined musculature beneath a tight covering of lightly bronzed skin.
A pair of khaki colored pants encase his lower half, low slung and flattering in the right places, woven out of a breathable soft material perfect for a tropical climate. The legs pool a bit at the ankle and drape some over the top of his feet. Nothing fancy there either, just a pair of sandals with two thick straps and buckles across the top. Dyed a non-descript brown color. Nails are kept clean and trimmed on toes and fingertips. A thin sleeveless yet hooded shirt, white with pale grey accents, leaves bare the musculature of his arms, draw strings hanging down to the center of his chest with brass clings. Around his left wrist is a series of bracelets. Among them is a thick cluster of mahogany hued straps and thick muted colored cords braided together, a single thick weave of hemp, and several single straps that comes together to form one where they are tied - in deep brown and black. Around his neck is a choker type necklace done in white shells and wooden bead accents strung with black cord, adjustable at the back of his neck.
History
Not much is known about Kairhys, other than he appears to be good-natured, friendly, and possessed of a practically endless amount of patience. Someone would have to be persistently and intentionally annoying to get him even remotely worked up. It's rare, but it happens. If asked, he'll will tell you his childhood was relatively normal. Parents, little sister, and pretty uneventful. He broke his arm once falling out of a tree. Boring, really. His motives for moving from Fort to Ista is shrouded in mystery, and everyone has their own theory. Whether it's escaping an arranged married to as severe as having killed someone, to anything in between - the guy just seems to find the rumors quite amusing. The truth is likely far more simple, as the Weavercraft apprentice spends most sunny days, on the beach sketching. Turns out, he's got more than just a talent for getting a tan and taking in the scantily clad scenery. His sketchbook is filled with pages upon pages of illustrations. People, places, animals. Kai is an artist, and a downright talented one at that. Go figure.
