Description

Nearly over 5'8 in height, her body has an athletic and somewhat toned build to it even at the age she is now. The few strands of straight black hair, now streaked with grey, that cling to her high cheekbones accent the sharp features of her face, while the rest of her long hair has been trussed up into a neat bun. Her blue eyes, set above a long, thin nose, appear brighter against her dark hair and olive hued skin. She has a small, thin lipped mouth that is often or not, curved into a slight smirk.
Anoryn is often wearing a simple short sleeved tunic with a laced, low cut v-shaped neck. It's neatly tucked into a pair of dark grey pants, the cut slim and hugging close to her toned legs. Around her waist, she wears a thick leather belt and around her neck is a simple beaded necklace made from braided runner-hair.
On her left shoulder, she wears a knot in Ista Weyr colors, with the necessary modifications to designate her as a Craftrider. On the same side of her knot, she wears a badge showing her Craft to be Beastcraft. A dark green ribbon, threaded through the knot, signifies her lifemate.

History

+Early Life, Katz Field Hold and Beastcraft Hall

Anoryn was born to a large family of seven, being the fifth child to be born among her humerous siblings. Her parents were both Journeyman Beastcrafters that bred and raised their own stocks and bloodlines of runners, race and show type, in their large cothold just outside of Katz Field Hold. Early life was uneventful for Anoryn, aside from having to deal with the usual troubles young children get themselves into, and various sibling rivalries, but she lived a happy life. Many would comment that she was a lively child, curious about everything and seeming to have mind of her own when she really focused on something. When she became old enough, her parents began to include her in various chores around the hold - just as her older siblings had before her. Anoryn rarely complain about the work, as it would bring her closer to the runners and she would be able to eavesdrop on the work of her parents and the other Beastcrafters who'd stop by. It wasn't until Anoryn reached her fourteenth Turn that she began to consider life outside of Katz Field. While life was good for her in her home hold, she felt stifled by the size of her family and yearned for change and for space to grow. Eventually, she confronted her parents and they agreed to send her off to the Beastcraft Hall with her father on his next visit.

+Searched, Impression and Life at Western

And there Anoryn stayed and studied, easing in to her life as an Apprentice with minimal troubles. She made friends (and enemies) among the other Apprentices, but overall she was a good student. Eventually, she gained her Journeyman rank and was promptly sent off to Eastern Weyr for a short-term posting. And short termed it was, as Anoryn was Searched by a brownrider named Athanasia and her brown Salinath for Western Weyr's clutch. Stunned, Anoryn reluctantly agreed in the end and soon joined the other candidates in Western. While primarily stuck on chores, Anoryn still found time to pursue her Craft whenever possible. She did make friends though, both among the candidates, residents and riders a like. The young woman was just settling into a routine of normalcy when the humming began and she was ushered into a ill-fitting white robe and filed out onto the Sands. Trying to stay calm, Anoryn found herself to be overwhelmed by it all, until a lively green hatchling pounced her shadow and almost knocked her over. Stumbling a little to catch herself, Anoryn was almost face to muzzle with the green as Impression was made:

A creeping darkness crawls into your mind, swirling about for a few moments, almost appearing to stalk your senses for a few moments before suddenly it pounces on you full force and a gruff, deep voice calls into your mind, « I am HUNGRY! » The swirls stalk a moment more and then the voice softens just slightly, « I am Rysith and I have hunted and caught you. You are mine and I need to eat! »

Anoryn was once again stunned! She was a Weyrling! She had little time to consider the outcomes and her future as a Beastcrafter, as Rysith turned out to be quite the demanding and strong willed green. Weyrlinghood became an interesting, although often frustrating and exhausting trial for the young woman. Finding it difficult to keep Rysith in line during lessons, Anoryn soon became the bane of the Weyrlingmaster and some of her fellow Weyrlings. Anoryn's own personality began to meld more to that of her lifemate and soon both rider and dragon sported quite the stubborn attitude and rough tongue. But as they grew together, Rysith matured and in turn calmed a little. Anoryn, now at the end of her teenage rebellious stage, also began to act mature - when she was in the mood to be.
Graduation came and Anoryn was offered the wingrider knot and badge for Sea Wind by Marja. Her Craft studies were put aside, as were her hopes and dreams within the Beastcraft. The firefighting and search and rescue Wing demanded a lot of time and energy from the new greenriding pair and Anoryn was just as focused to the task of their training as Rysith was. So it was no surprise when Dyanara promoted them both to Wingsecond. For a few Turns she remained at that position, even when she became pregnant with her first child after Rysith's last flight. The birth was difficult on Anoryn, but in the end a healthy baby boy was born and named Jevryn. As loathe as she was to part with her first born son, she had no choice but to foster him as once she had recovered, Anoryn moved up in rank again and this time was promoted to Wingleader.
During her time as Wingleader, Anoryn had to lead her wing into action when a call went out for help from Telgar Hold. Fire had broken out during a renegade attack and was threatening to engulf the Hold. Leading her wing in, they were able to stop the blaze but in the process she lost a Wingrider and her Wingsecond was injured, among others. For a while afterwards, she was almost unapproachable and withdrawing in her guilt. Eventually her mental wounds healed enough that she could return to work and soon both she and Rysith were back into the fast paced routines of their duties.

+Stepping Down, Change of Heart

While her early life had been stable, life for her as a rider was anything but. From Wingleader, she moved on to Assitant Weyrlingmaster and then on to Weyrlingmaster for several Turns. Her biggest step of all is when she was promoted to Weyrsecond, a position that Anoryn accepted and held with great pride. She proved to be quite capable, managing to keep a level head this time round through hectic and tough times. But stress soon creeped up on Anoryn, followed by a restlessness that plagued both her and Rysith daily. Anoryn couldn't forget the Craft she had abandoned all those Turns prior either and soon she became obsessed again with runners. Western boasted a good-sized stock of racers and Anoryn was able to form a 'team' of a stablehand, grooms and a posted Beastcrafter. It was through them that she founded her own stable, though technically they ran most of it, as her duties as a dragonrider always came first.
Eventually though, the duties required of a Weyrsecond took too much toll on Anoryn and she stepped down from the Sea Wind Wing entirely. Instead, she asked to join the Craftrider Wing, finally unable to deny herself from the Craft she loved since childhood. With her son long grown and Impressed at Fort and her younger daughter off to High Reaches', Anoryn in turn focused on the stables she co-owned and any Craft related duties, among her own as a dragonrider. For many Turns she remained at Western and to the casual observer, one would have thought the greenrider content. But shortly after the birth of her third son, both Anoryn and Rysith slipped out during the night and disappeared from Western. No warning, no word afterwards as to why. Many rumors were spread, but word finally came that she was spotted in Ista Weyr, continuing on with her work with runners.

Moonlit Forest Green Rysith
A huntress through and through, this large green's svelte form has been refined and built in such a way to give her the near ideal image of agileness and quickness that her color often boasts. Olive and cameo greens merge together across her blunt muzzle and rounded head, the darker of the hues blending in along her short, wide head knobs. Soft shadows and highlights twine across her back and ridges, creating an effect much like moonlight streaming through the leaves in a thick, lush forest. Dark green shadows of hunter green and emerald, nearly black in some places, dance with murky grass greens that gently caress the smooth curve of her muscled chest and lithe sides while forest green hues flow down the proud arched curve of her neck to her muscular flanks. Soft silvery-green highlights appear and disappear with the movement of light across her smooth hide, giving more credence to the illusion of shaded leaves blowing in a soft breeze or she being born from the forest itself. Even her wings are touched with the intermingled play of light and shadow, the soft translucent wingsails swirled with light silvery jades and spring greens.
