Tarrik is the son of a pair of riders from Fort, the result of a flight coupling. Having originally grown up a weyr brat, he found himself having an affinity for the Dolphincraft of all things only fairly recently. He was accepted at as a trainee under the journeyman at Tillek Hold.
It was while Hasha was making her long-promised visit to her parents at Tillek that she encounter Tarrik, whereupon Tavissath, after making a rather insistent effort to burrow her way into the half-submerged cove that was popular with the local pod and semi-convinced she could become a member if she could just wedge herself in far enough, informed Hasha that Tarrik needed to be brought in on Search. And so, here he is!
Tarrik is a very tall young man (6'4") with floppy brown hair, and hazel eyes. Intelligent, aware that he's attractive, but at the same time a little shy about it, he's a team player who isn't afraid to speak his mind.
