...Boom?

It was a very quiet night at Ista Weyr when people in the lower caverns were startled awake by an explosion, specifically those drudges and workers that slept near the kitchens. The first ones to arrive on the scene could not have gotten there too late, with the smoke still thick around one oven and a mess on the floor— and yet the culprits were no where to be found, suspicions on weyrbrats that snuck out too fast. The explosion apparently came from a soggy mess that is believed to have once been the beginnings of a cake. Who knows if Ista will ever know the true identity of the arsonists, but they do know that the bakers are furious at the loss of one of their ovens until it can be replaced.
