The rumors spread within moments of the event. How it got so far so fast from an island, who an tell, but Ista does seem to be rather distractable in that regard. The facts that circulate are clear to a point. It is said that Ae'ran, bronzerider of Knephyth and weyrmate of Weyrlingmaster Lorena, attacked N'kor, bronzerider of Nasrinth, at the establishment N'kor runs, the Saucy Wench. After finding the man cozy with a newly arrived dancer from Igen, Ae'ran apparently accosted and nearly strangled the man before releasing him for unknown reasons. He was escorted out shouting something about N'kor seducing women and rumor abounds that it is Lorena, in fact, who had been the cause for this confrontation. All witnesses claim to have heard Ae'ran threaten N'kor, that the next time Ae'ran say the cabana manager he would be lucky to retain his, er… genitalia. The offending bronzerider and runner-trainer was last seen disappearing into the water with his bronze.
It is reported also that the dragons, too, did battle. At least enough of a fight to cause bronze Knephyth a laceration to his side. Dragonhealers will not disclose if they have seen the bronze for his injury as of yet.
