All Ista Weyr residents should now be aware of the mess that the Senior Weyrwoman has created in the Living Caverns. Many residents are thrilled, and many others — especially those from the kitchen staff — are not. It looks like Ysa has had a brilliant plan to get everything from one of the storerooms off the living caverns removed and transferred into any spot they can squeeze the stuff in: A corner of the caverns, the kitchens… definitely a burden to find a new place for it all.
But the other half of the Weyr are excited to see the transformation Ysa has done to the space where the things used to be stored. Couches, chairs, tables… Perfect for anyone just looking to relax and does not want to be listening to the hustle and bustle of a crowded caverns, and a thick door to block out unwanted sounds. A perfect little retreat inside the caverns to drink your klah or read a book. Definitely not private, the Lounge is for all Weyrfolk where gossip and chitchat can still be found in smaller amounts, though it is asked to be respectful to those that are trying to just have some rest and relaxation.
